The Virginia Alliance for Potbellied Pigs gives a united voice to those in Virginia dedicated to the welfare and advocacy of pigs not in the food chain. While recognizing the right of each sanctuary, rescue, and pet pig owner to function independently, the Alliance seeks to advance the knowledge and implementation of best practices in management, financial planning, medical care, nutrition, and biosecurity issues while keeping members appraised and educated on pending legislation and regulations.
